Hey there, it’s great to meet you! Our names are Val and Louis, and we are a
girlfriend/boyfriend team from the New York metro area. We’ve both always had a
love for all things cool and secondhand, but it really flourished while in
college. Our favorite thing to do between classes was hit up local thrift
stores with our friends, but we quickly started to amass more things than we
had space for. We originally started our business by uploading pieces to Depop
to clear our closets, but now have curated an ever-evolving rotation of unique
pieces. Since starting this journey we have learned so much about the history
and culture of these items, traveled the country for countless vintage events, licensed
our brand name, and met so many incredible people. 

Afterglow Vintage is our combined passion project, mixing our love for
vintage culture with our love for fashion and self-expression. As recent college grads with full time jobs, managing a small business comes with its
challenges -- but we wouldn’t do this if we didn’t love it.

When we’re not sourcing or selling vintage, you can find us catching indie rock + electronic shows in NYC, making music, or playing retro video games. Thanks for stopping by, we hope to see you out in the real world sometime soon!
